I'd appreciate it if you could respond and give an insight on whether some of these features will or possibly be implemented. I hope this list is useful and provides some good ideas.
This would be extremely fun in multiplayer. I think this would really make the game realistic personally, I'd love to be able to wait at a station for a train, my friend pulls up in his DMU, and I hop on as he opens the doors. Or, have a co-op driving session where one person could man the controls, and another takes care of the engine, switches, etc.ĥ) For upcoming DLC - ride passenger trains. It could even tie in to the dedicated servers, where you could create a server called 'CSX-Bails-Branch' where the host / admin would be the owner of the company / division / branch, and able to create custom routes, loco settups, command the players / staff etc.Ĥ) Train riding - I think this is probably a really wanted feature to ride trains with your friends in the cab or you driving and take your mate on a journey through the countryside. In my opinion this would work really well in both single & multiplayer.ģ) The ability to create a 'virtual train company', or create custom routes / tasks for your friends this is something that has been included in a few bus simulators over the past couple of years, and I think it would really bring the world to life if this feature was added. P2P would be similar, but it would be more of a co-op experience where you have the choice to complete missions together or seperate missions in the same world.Ģ) AI trains - I think this would be amazing to see trains driving around, where you'd have to stop at a signal to let one through etc. I hope you find them useful and could implement them into the game ġ) Have an option to have dedicated servers & P2P playing - this is so you could possibly have a large dedicated server set in the night time where custom routes are made by the administrator of the server, and you would have to fullfill these jobs.
